First Impression : Tula

I’m happy to say I finally jumped on the Tula train!

I have been hearing bloggers and influencers rave about Tula for probably at least a year. Where I live, none of the stores carry the brand. I’m always a little hesitant to try skincare without being able to smell and feel the product. I would describe my skin in the following words:

  • DRY (Flaky in the winter months)
  • FINE LINES/SIGNS OF AGING (More of a concern than problem)

I was lucky enough to snag one of the Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm sticks when they did the restock.

I feel pretty lucky this was the first Tula product I ever tried! Let me tell you, all the hype is 100% true! This eye balm is AMAZING! I first tested it with one swipe under each eye. It’s crazy, but there truly is an INSTANT calling effect. I could actually feel the balm soaking into my skin. It also gives you such a bright underlie, it works so well under makeup! Glow & Get It is currently out of stock, but you can sign up to receive an email for the next round of the restock!

The Hydrating Day & Night Cream

The first thing I noticed about this moisturizer was the fresh scent. I personally don’t mind if my skincare has a smell to it – as long as it’s a good one! LOL. However if a strong scent is something that you are sensitive to or don’t care for, you may not like this particular product.

The formula is fairly lightweight and spreads very nicely on the skin. A little goes a long way which is always nice because your product will last longer! I’ve been using the Hydrating Day & Night Cream for a little less than a month and I’ve barely made a dent in it. I did get a few minor breakouts within the first two weeks. From the reviews and information I’ve read from Tula, this is normal. It is the probiotics working with your skin! So do not be alarmed if you experience this when first trying Tula. I have honestly noticed a difference in the appearance and texture of my skin this month!

Verdict : I love Tula! I can’t wait to try more products from them.
